Fleur qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005 and has developed a particular interest in cardiology, radiography and exotics. She has worked with a plethora of species including rhinos, big cats, birds of prey and reptiles, as well as domesticated cats and dogs. She has completed the Advanced Programme of Veterinary Nursing in Reptiles and Amphibians and enjoys the varied caseload at Seren Vets.

Outside work she is slave to her rescue cat and two rescue dogs and enjoys camping, walking and knitting.

Alys joined Seren in April 2024, having been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since January 2023. Prior to deciding to become a Veterinary Nurse, she spent 6 years in the British Army with the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in London. Alys has a particular interest in the surgical side of nursing and in patient care, and she is also enjoying gaining more experience with the different species we see at Seren.

Outside work, Alys enjoys walking her dogs Elvis, Maggie and Winnie, and spending time with her family and friends.

After completing a foundation degree in Animal Science, Georgina went on to complete her BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Georgina loves all aspects of nursing but particularly enjoys medical nursing and the challenges that it can bring.

Georgina has four Flat Coated Retrievers, a cat called Bundles and is attempting to grow a mini farm with her Alpacas and Pygmy Goats, with the hope of adding more wonderful and weird creatures! She enjoys spending her time with her family, and Harry Potter is her guilty pleasure.

Becky has been an animal lover since childhood and becoming a veterinary nurse was always her dream job. Since qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2012, Becky has enjoyed all aspects of nursing, with a particular interest in surgical/theatre work and carrying out nurse clinics.

Outside work her young daughter keeps her busy, and she enjoys long walks with her three dachshunds and socialising with friends and family.

Milly has been a Registered Veterinary Nurse for three years and has always had a passion for animal care. She is owned by two chihuahuas, Gomez and Morticia, who accompany her everywhere and act as the practice’s chief treat testers.

Outside work, Milly can almost always be found with her horse, Manny. She also enjoys walking and swimming, although has little time left for this after prioritising her pets.
